How can this not be adorable? :D

I knit this fish beanie baby, using double-pointed needles for the first time. Next I am hoping to make a chicken that can sit upright on a shelf or something.

Coffee Koozie

I knit a nice little sweater... for my coffee mug! This piece allows you to hold the mug without burning your hands, and at the same time keeps your fingers toasty warm. The buttons allow it to go through a handle, and the yarn has a little elastic to allow for it to stretch around mugs of many sizes.

Delightful, isn't it? I'm not sure what sadistic motive existed that led me to draw this. I guess it could have been a combination of boredom and illegitimate amounts of caffeine. How do you think the bird feels? (The alive one-- I would hope that we would all already assume the dead bird can't really feel anything)

On a different tangent, what would you do in this situation:

That's right. You're parked in a gas station with a few bills, and suddenly... your car stops smelling like the Yankee car fresheners you just bought the other day.

Let's throw knitting in the mix

I knit... so why not post what I knit?

Today I'll post a picture of a hat that I knitted for my sister. It's supposed to resemble an owl, and I think I did a pretty good job making it happen.

I swear it was made completely by me; I always get asked whether or not I bought it. I did it entirely without direction, and the checkered pattern in the lower half of the hat was done by mistake :)

I'm really glad she liked it. This is definitely one of my best creations. Stay tuned for further posts about knitting!

I really do love me some heels. I can never be tall enough, or too tall to wear them. There is never a height requirement or height limit for heels.
